Lomo Catwalk Test

Goodness how many cameras I’d brought with me to London Fashion Week, a Canon 50D DLSR with a monster size flash, my beloved Canon G9 powershot camera and a vintage Yashica FX-3 Super 2000 with a cutesy coloursplash flash….all in my bag that weighed 5 tonnes.
These catwalk pictures are from the Aminaka Wilmont show, shot with the Yashica camera Fuji Provia 100F slide film – cross processed. These are my first lomo photos shot in action-low-light condition. Loved it, except for the OOOPPS in the last photo.
Me And Diana Mini
Yay!!!! My christmas wishlist has arrived early, I bought a Diana Mini and F+ at the London Lomography Gallery Store last week and I can’t wait to start shooting.

What A Sparkled Night It Was…
I was invited to a very special event ‘Sparks Fashion Show’ in association with MIELE at the Marriott Hotel in Mayfair. Arrived at the venue straight after work where I was assisting backstage dressing models for client’s press-presentation show….just enough time to do my hair, make-up and a quick change into a cocktail dress by GHOST, Chanel style fine knit cardi by ELIZABETH LAU, tights by JONATHAN ASTON, Melissa shoes by VIVIENNE WESTWOOD, Men’s chains accessory worn as necklace by TOPMAN and Red leopard print pillbox hat by HELENE BERMAN.
Those who were invited were cool young stylish-bloggers; LolaRe, Press & Dressed and Peacock Feathers & Diamond Rings.

Anton Du Beke and Camilla Dallerup of Strictly Come Dancing show (my favourite tv show) were hosts throughout the evening…

My three course meal; Salmon fish cake, Gnocchi (can’t spell) with veg and Caramel dessert…

We ate, chatted, laughed and giggled, in awe with excitement of the silent and live actions, Anton Du Beke gave us a blow kiss and we threw some roses across the catwalk stage…

The winning dress designed by Nathan for Miele Fashion Prize, the dress was made and constructed by Jasper Garvida…

Sparks managed to raise £40,00 and it was a successful and fun night thanks to MIELE.
What’s next for Miele?
