Speed Dating With Canon And Diana

I’ve finally bought a Diana lens adapter and Diana 55mm super wide lens for my Canon 50D, I was told it’d capture dream-like photos…depending how you shot it of course.  So, I went to Carnaby Street for a quickie trial before I jetted off to work.  Here are the results…

Nokia N86 Tryout At The Vivienne Westwood – Red Label Show

So I tried out my new Nokia phone (yes..it was free) at the Vivienne Westwood show on Sunday night.  The N86 8MP excels at taking high quality photographs, as seen here in broad daylight, but also, unlike other other cameraphones, it is capable of delivering great images in low-light conditions.  As you can you can see…

This shot was taken at 18:10-ish outside the Red Bull Factory.  Click image to enlarge, are you amazed?

Although…

…it’s great for daylight photography but shooting in low light conditions…well, for the technically minded – the device has several key factors: f/2.8 aperture means increase sensor size and sensitivity, it delivers a considerably higher signal to noise ratio in low light, 28mm wide angle Carl Zeiss lens and Duel LED flash.

Crowds of guests, VIPS, celebrities, buyers, fashionistas getting seated at the enormous venue, The Old Sorting Office.

Full zoom 100%

A few seconds of pitch darkness, flash and no zoom.

Here’s the model!

Opps, too much light on the model…but I managed to get a good clear shot.

A clearer shot of the model although I forgot to set the camera in ‘Sport’ mode.

Show ended before 8pm, outdoor with flash.

Great face mask (or a thong?)
